One-Turn campaign via Steam
Details:
~Windows 7
~Steam?: Yes, (RTW Gold + Alexander)
After numerous attempts, I gave up trying to get the RSII launcher to work. The launcher opens fine, but when I click play it disappears and nothing happens.
I'm able to play through steam by editing the "launch set up options" (ex. -mod:play_Rome -show_err -nm), however, it only applies to 0-turn. Is there any way to run this in 1-turn?

Re: One-Turn campaign via Steam
Usually if steam games arent installed in the default area then the launcher won't pick them up.
Now that you have it working through steam, you dont really need the launcher, but if you would like to use it i can create you a custom one (if thats the problem, i think it is.

It's really not necessary, but if you really want to I'd be willing to try it. I just don't want you to go out of your way since the indirect route works just fine for me.

Re: One-Turn campaign via Steam
Can u explain what u did... I dont understand what this whole "play_One_Turn -show_err -nm" is about. ALso ... if I just mod every single unit from the campaign I am playing recruitment time in the "export_descr_unit" document would that only apply to my faction or to everyone else as well?. I know in Roma Surrectum I had to go through each faction and change the recruitment time. Steam: yes Doesn't work at all tried installing it in default folders... doesn't run then at all. So really at a loss. Getting bored of burning through 3-5 armies to get to one city.
I actually prefer the 0 turn... but is getting incredibly boring. I like being able to recruit an army on the go. Thats realistic. But ...well actually is there a way I can doubleor triple all unit upkeep costs?
That way anyone can recruit a massive armies but the upkeep would severely hampered if not planned carefully.
PS: Is there a console command for instant recruitment like for buildings?. the process_cq "city".
