Blackest Nights
Basically this is a small fantasy mod i decided to make. As ive progressed makeing the factions and the background story its gotten much more interesting. So the Basic concept of it is...
Earth is nearing a total destruction from the war to follow, The Nations have split into three final Alliances, The Soember and the Xenepholl. The Kingdom of Felesia and Cherokian tribes and the Araasung trying for Glory.
There are also two other factions but are much less important during the war.
Small faction descriptions...
The Cherokian Tribes
Cherokia is a name that used to mean much. Now it is associated with cowardness and vunrebility, When the tribes united they had on purpose, to defend there lands from the Soember. This they did sucessfully and the Soembers were pushed back through skill and perseverence. No battle had been fought like the battle of Samarland had. It was a day to remember. Relations with the Soember have not improved either and they have been faced with invasion many many times...but this is not the real story of why the soember where once great.
To the north lay the Terronian Islands. After the people defeated the Soember they got to proud of themselves and invaded the islands. To do this they sucked the country dry from its resources and many men where forced into the invasion force. When the soldiers landed on the islands things wehere not like they expected. Thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Huge and war painted warriors stood ready on the beach. It was not this that frightened them as they laned (according to legend) Bolts of lighting attacked the Cherokians and flames from the ground scorched the bodies and the wind was to strong for the soldiers to handle. The few that where left including there king returned to there ships and tried to sail on. As they left a wave....a wave the size of 200 men slammed down onto the boats destroying them instantly! The few survivors on the beach looked on in horror at there following bretherin and the compltely untouched Terronians. Cherokia was left leaderless and even now the people who lead them are weak.
Perhaps the Cherokians could rise and take on the world. It has the potenital...or had. With the Soember looking to take over and the Terronians to the north the Felsians have sent an army out of respect to help defend us from the Soember. Hopefully in time the Cherokians will be strong enough to return the favour but it is not easy to see and even harder to accomplish....
The Kingdom of Felesia
The Felesians live by a code, set by there ancestors from the beginning of time. "Defend the lands of the innocent and the weak." While the Cherokians brought there downfall by themselves the Felesians still feel that they are worth fighting for. If the Felesians dont Stand for them then the Soember have a free entrance. Many years ago there Founders ruled the lands of most of the world today and brought civilization to the world, but then there lines were spread thin and they could not control them, this is when the Soember took charge and from then it kept growing. Now the Felesians sit at the foot of the world and have large armies at there disposal. Now is the time to bring peace to the world, after the war ahead perhaps the Felesians will be able to free the lands conquered by the Soember and Araasung and every other corrupt nation...or will they do the same or worse.
The Soember Nation
The Soember are not a nation to rival with, There are armies stay strong and there warriors bloodthirsty. They have a rich economy and fertile lands. Before the beggining of recorded history the Soember were a small people who lay to the north of the world.After the death of the man who untied all of Soember "Arian Tolohom" the nation changed. It became expanionist and agressive. It gave up the old ways and there soldiers marched through the lands of the Mid-World. Nevertheless The Kingdom has proved time and time again the might of its armies and its strategies and they have no words for reason in there Language anymore.
At the present time Seomber is the leader of the world and while many nations keep there alliances out of fear some will step up and fight them...whether this will lead to Victory is unsure. Although a Soembrian could rise and take the Kingdom to an age of peace where all people could live in freedom, Again this is unlikely because of Men, war wages throughout the World as does revolt in some areas. Before there can be peace these issues must be dealt with...and eliminated.
The Xenepholl
The Xenepholl, Because of the Soember we have grown from a small village and into a new Nation.
They have fought time and time again with them and in return they have granted them land and gave much gold. People think of them as Cowards for standing with them but they do not realise what they can achieve with there help. Though they are in a Dangerous position. The Cherokians and Felesians have formed an allaince, The Cherokians are weak but with help can rise....strong, but the Felesians are not to be underestimated. They must make our armies strong and our cities well defended if they are to survive the war that is ahead. But them and the Soember stand united against there enemies and they have faith in them. The war will be bloddy and costly but maybe they could emerge victorious...they must.
The Araasung
Unplayable (maybe)
The Araasung are powerful. Perhaps to powerful. The Araasung do not care for losses and only think of there victorys. They will march on with out thinking of the Consequences and likely very soon will be struck down. Maybe...or Maybe not. They have the potential to become great and perhaps dominant, But this will require a strong leader to unite the Araasung and to become the true masters of the world.
There much more to write down and will take a long time so tomorrow (if i can get some positive feedback) Ill decribe most of the world in the Game. Thanks
