Default Why the military reform don't happens?

    Hi everyone,

Weel, I've read the readme of APQR Total War 8.0, and there I found that, for the military reform happens, I have to build an Imperial Palace in Italy...Well I did it, but nothing happened, and now the gaul are taking my cities and the greeks took that island. What i've done that was wrong? Why the reform didn't happen?

You should read again or research threads.

Don't plan on seeing any reforms untill you are about several months into the game. Thats not even an understatement.

Yeah, but I read it again and it's written in the "Battle Tips for Playing SPQR", item number 16:Marius reforms are a LONG way off, so remember that most nations Elite units are Better than yours. Reforms happen when you build an Imperial Palace in Italy." It's pasted.

Please, if it is'nt that what i have to do, what could it be?

You must build imperial palaces in all your Italian cities as well as the key Carthaginian cities you are required to take.

Theres only a prob when you play the spqr....it doesn't have a short campaign....but instead you must destroy all the factions....not like others that they have specific factions & would hold only 15 regions....

You must build an imperial palace on all the "STARTING CARTHAGINIAN CITIES" I dont know what they mean by "starting" but I'm assuming its every single Carthaginian city, including the cities that have a negative population growth for like 100 turns.

Exterminate and demolish all buildings in them. Voila you got positive growth. And if you cannot make em grow anymore with taxation, how about recruiting peasants from populated cities and transfer them there to disband? Thats how I populated Gallia for example

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to give that a try. Does anyone have a list of the EXACT Carthaginian cities that require an imperial palace for the reforms to take place? I have no clue which cities Carthage starts with.
