    Icon9 Audio problem

I can't start my RTW game or any mod. It says; "failed to initialize 3D-audio" or something. I tried to reinstall but it didn't work.

I have played the game before and it worked but then I wanted to play RS1 and forgot to backup. I uninstalled RTW and reinstalled it. It didn't work. Tried again, same thing.

I have RTW gold edition, Alex and several mods that are modfoldered. I'm sure that I have the right hardware.

When and reinstalled it, it said: "failed to install mms...". It were 3 files that all started with mms, I think it ended with .ddl but I'm not sure.

Before you reinstalled, did you delte all Rome total War folders, run a registry cleaner, reboot, then reinstall? Bet entries are still in the registry.

I can't delete the files that are causing the problem. I sais "acces to files denied" (or something, this could be a very bad translation).

Are you logged in as Administrator?

Are the files set to "Read only"?

Hmmm, it seems like the files have dissapeared. Now I can safely install RTW. Thanks for the help.
