Bigger Campaign Map

Sorry i know there are enough mods to get a bigger map, but i searched about 1 week (not all the time of curse ^^ maybe 1 h per day) for a mod that grants me: a bigger campaign map..
finally i found the_new_province_2.2 mod for RTW 1.2
u can't imagine how happy i became.. BUT i tried it out.. it doesn't work, maybe because i installed to many other skins? like webbirds skinpack, ATG's Spartan and many more.. now i would NOT like to play Rome Total Realism (RTR)

I still want to play my RTW vanilla with the latest patch and my skins but with a bigger campaign map (like more eastern provinces would make me happy enough)

now my question; does a mod like this exist? if yes please could you tell me the link or the name so i could search for this mod @download section of this page

edit: or maybe a mod which grants some more provinces not specially eastern provinces... just a bigger map BUT no skin change or something like that

i think your looking for magnus mundus v2. its in the download section but i havent used it for over 6months.

There are the BareBonesMap by IceTorque, or the Munuds Magna 3, the extended provinces map was designed on RTw 1.2, it doesn't work with the latest patches. Links:

well i looked i got rtw 1.2.2 installed so i think it should work or? =)

edit: atm i am installing magnus mundus for 1.3 i hope this work also with 1.2.2 ^^

RTw 1.2.2? No such version exists. What was the latest patch that you installed?

hm well i hope i am not stupid i just installed the cherry vanilla patch, isnt it 1.2.2
if you tell me now there exist more than one cherry vanilla patches i would have to look exactly ^^ sorry i dont have a "high know-how" about software and hardware

The cherry vanilla patch is a unofficial patch that fixes bugs, its not an official patch from CA. Go to totalwar.com to download proper official patches.

well i am downloading now the patch 1.3
i am sure mundus magnus will work with this map, because the uploader promised it hehe
but will my skins work anymore? i installed them before...

No, they won't, you will have to reinstall the skins.

1. i install the v 1.3 rtw offical patch of totalwar.com
2. i install magnus mundus for v1.3
3. and then i reinstall my skins

so i dont need to reinstall cherry vanilla or?

You can reinstall it, it is copatible with 1.3.
