Lotrtw and gold edition.

Hi to all,

I am the happy owner of lotrtw gold edition (that means no Alexander expansion).
i don't want to buy the Alx expansion, but i used to play lotrtw on my older pc.
I saw here : http://www.lotr-tw.net/viewtopic.php?t=4057 that the 2.08 version of the mod might work with gold edition of rtw.

Anybody can confirm?

this mod is for alexander expansion, so you really need to have that in order for you to play this mod.

i can help you with installing Alexander for free

i only had to buy Rome total war, and downloaded the ALX add-on

yeah why not... just one thing... i'm on mac!

I can have the data files for alx expansion, but i don't know how to make it work after.

afaik, the gold edition for mac does include the Alexander expansion, and several people has confirmed they can play lotrtw on it.
