    Default Editing FMs traits

Is there a guide for editing FMs traits laying around here anywhere? Playing as Spain and I currently have 15 regions and 6 FMs so I'm thinking of giving some of my better generals some high fertility traits. I checked out the guide sticky but cannot locate it.

    Help?

Do you want to edit the actual traits or are you just trying to give traits to your family members?

Edit: If you're trying to edit the actual traits, here's a thread I made a couple weeks ago about this. I never resolved my problem, but maybe it will work for you.

I'm in to rework the traits for the vanilla version of M2 to make better and more balanced gene for inheriting. It is a little bit poor that good generals/governours pass only negative traits to her sons - exceptions are 2 points for chivalry and dread.

Regarding your question I'm not sure it will take affect during a running game. It's a difficult question. I need the nation only.
If you want to test your changes I recommend to restart your computer first to delete the cache and then start a new game (if it makes sense for testing a special situation - as far as I can rate it).
It's a little bit circumstantial restarting the computer, but from modding experience I know it is important.

If you like I can write you code for the export_descr_character_traits.txt. I just need the traits your generals already have. It sounds a litte bit cheating, but this could be a solution for you.

***EDIT: I reflect on your problem: There is a shorter way. I don't need the traits. I just write a special 'event' for you.
