Strange error.

Hello all and thanks for reading!

After finally DL'ing a none corrupted file(s) and finally installing I am getting a perculiar error message(s) at startup!

They go as follows: Filename doesn't exist: data/animations/engine/ballista/ballista_idle.CAS

&: Script Error in stat/descr_font_db.txt at line 14, column 41
Couldn't find file data/fonts/font_18.cuf

Any help would be great!

i have the same problem with the ballista stuff and still can fix it. it may be useful te see me thread: LAUNCH ERRORS???!!!

Hi, the way I fixed it is by reinstalled RTW into (just) C/ drive. Make a new folder called RS2, installed RTW then install RSII there

However, now my RSII launcher says it's got a Autolt Error, Variable used without being declared. I can get into RSII through Folders but when on Campaign screen it keeps saying Pick a Item from the List, which I have!

Okay I'm sorry but this is getting a bit... Tedious now to say the least. I've been at this al afternoon and evening.

'Please select an Item from the list' What list!?!?

Why, now all of a sudden, does the Launcher not work? Variable not being declared? Eh? This isn't an airport check-in!

And, after closing RSII I get Script error with data/world/maps/campaigns/imperialcampagins/descrstrat.txt at line 12 column 1 - which is nonplayable (line, so column is n ??)

Help please!

this error usually occurs if you install RSII to a RTW which is not patched up to 1.5...
Reinstall RTW > Patch 1.3 > Patch 1.5 > RSII

My RTW is 100% definantly installed/patched to 1.5

EDIT: ....!!!!!!!! Just did a double check and it's not... It's at 1.0... But, why!? Before RSII it was at 1.5!!!!

You thought it was 1.5. RSII does not change the version number as that is part of the executable and no mod will change that.
