    Default xbox/hd question

I am currently hooking up my xbox with the HD adapter (component cables) to my HD monitor. However, the picture isn't that much better, and many edges are jagged and rough. Is there something wrong with my HD adapter cable, or is it something else?

I thought the Xbox was supposed to show its true potential on HDTV's, no clue about monitors though.

The HD shows up well on my TV, but I've never heard of anyone doing what you're doing.

My HD monitor is a TV, not a computer monitor if you thought that. You know, one without a built in reciever.
