it's in the readme of the 0.7 version, you have to place the bold text behind RomeTW.exe" -mod:europa270bc -show_err
    (of course not in bold)

ok I will try to do more detailed stuff later but for now:
something is seriously making the game slow, RS II is faster on my pc so that ought to say something...
what might help is not having toggle_fow as default, or it might be caused by some issue the game has with path finding for certain units or buildings... (or something else I'm no modding god xD)

If you're aiming for historical correctness, I'd add some regions in sicily, and change some faction symbols (the old roman factions are still quite "Roman")

also, but that might just be your personal preference, the Germans and Gauls are spelled in incorrect English.

lolIsuck asked me to help you with your map, send the files and I'll have a look ^^

@Apollyon: I´ll add install instructions into the first post

    @Irishguy:
-Never heard about the "game´s to slow thing" i´ll change fow into true for the next version (hope that helps, btw i´m able to play it in 1920x1080 resolution with huge armies and much faster than EB or RS2)
-I took Spartan198s expanded_bi.txt, who claims to be american...thought it was correct...
-What exact files do you need?

This coming from the guy who didn't know "the pot calling the kettle black" is a common expression in English?

Don't worry, just jesting with you. What exactly is incorrect? I'll fix it.

It lagged for me too. I turned anti-aliasing off and it quit lagging.

    As American as Uncle Sam.

Anti-aliasing is turned on in my game and it´s really fast with settings set to maximum. What else could be the proplem?

I don't know what else it could be, then. Anti-aliasing was the only setting I changed.

    Lucky you !?!
    Darn right!

But anyway, I'm pretty sure I got everything right in the expanded_bi that I already uploaded. EB's unit descriptions use "Germanic" instead of "Germanian", so I figured it was right. And unless the Celtic faction was changed back to Gauls in the most recent patch, I don't see how I got anything wrong there, either.

germanics. gallics. but there are some members who think this is a cool way to call them, or because the correct names reference too much to the current nations.

It lagged for me too. I turned anti-aliasing off and it quit lagging. thanks
EDIT saw your post above, Germanic is an adjective, so it a germanic spearman, but the noun is Germans, just like the modern day Germans. "Germanic" is used to differentiate is from the adjective "German" so people know when they're talking about the old or the "new" Germans

Ah, okay. Well, I figured since these are the "old" Germans, "Germanic" would be acceptable use. I personally thought "Germanic Tribes" sounded better than "German Tribes", though.

I'll change it tonight (I'm away from my home computer right now) and upload the new expanded_bi file.
