I feel as though I'm looking at a very good graphics mods for Medieval II.
Most of these games that are based off of better known ones don't do nearly as well as what they're based on. It might sell a bit but I doubt people would rally behind the company for it how people rally behind CA.
from the screens, the scale look completely off. That and I don't trust that developer to create a user friendly interface
Not a big threat IMO, but then again any competition is good.

Like how it has a rpg system like shogun 2
The more competition the better, though I don't see this as competition, I doubt it will be comparable in just about any way tbh, seems more akin to... what was it called, that warhammer (not 40k) rts that came out a few years ago.
damn it why do game companies think excessive shiny-ness and screen goo is equivalent to good graphics?
no, not really.
When the people of paradox start making tactical battles for they strategy games Sega and sadly CA would be in a great danger my Lord!!!
Then and only then CA would have a real competition on this aspect of the game.

It's about time. I've always felt that CA needed some competition to help them focus more on quality and innovation.

"There is a great deal of anticipation around Empire: Total War and we want to ensure that it is the benchmark for strategy games upon its release.![]()
