Trump his solution to US problems: anyone taking this serious?

Seeing he is currently leading the polls, I wonder who here takes his solutions to certain issues seriously?

I mean I just saw several off his ideas on the main issues (unemployment, oil price, economic problems, war in afghanistan) and on some of the "non" issues birth certificate , obama's records and they seem to be very laughable, something a 2 year old would make up if you let him run the country.

How come is he leading then?

Not only that they are filled with false statements or plain lies.

There is no appeal. It is a stage show, and is still too early to know who a frontrunner would be.

After being embarrassed by Obama three times I don't know if anyone is going to take Trump seriously. Once from the birth certificate, second time at the correspondents dinner, and third by cutting off his show to announce the capture of Bin laden.

Exactly, like everyone else said its too early and everyone else is quiet... but I think his appeal so far that is beating Pauls for instance is the fact he talks so much like a conservative patriot, bashes other countries and says hes going to force country A to do this and blah blah blah. That kind of talk is popular though not practical. He wont win the independents.

Donald Trump is a billionare businessman. He is not a political force. The only reason this is being discussed is because he's a billionare. And he has some popular television programming.

He's a populist with no clear ideology.

Trump is what you would describe as a career white collar criminal. A born with a silver spoon spoiled brat who apperently , without any qualifications and every times he opens his mouth a lot of disqualifiers , wants to be rpesident.. Altough some claim it shows and fake.
