P.S: I admit this wasn't the most quick win i could make, spent on constructing buildings 3 times more than recruitment... only made 81 units and was keeping half of them in the cities to keep peace... i believe i could finish it in about 25 turns if i had played aggressive and had focused on military

haha
but:
1. i recruited about 80 units which most of them were recruited at the end turns of the game
2. total money i spent on constructions were 3 times the amount i spent on recruitment, i didn't even recruit one single samurai unit
3. i didn't go for trade nodes, means i lost so much money there, could had played more aggressive with that big money
4. i was not planning to make a record or nothing, it was my 2nd or 3rd campaign
posted this thread just out of curiosity to see how others play this game

just for the record, you remember rtw: barbarian invasion? i won the campaign map with sassanids in 10 or 11 turns...
don't think too much about it, there's no was you can say how i could just walk from this side of the map to the other side lol
and, i remember i could finish it by two turns less if there was a way to build a ship to bring me to constantinople :p

started with some province i captured the first turn (north)... then headed south and fought imagawa and hojo... gave the game like 4 turns a break to recover my army... defended my only 5-6 regions by the bridges and strategic spots which were easy to defend... mastered the arts by civil focus... i guess it was like turn 20 that i captured kyoto... it helps you very much with the replenishment since the rest of the provinces that you need to capture are very close to kyoto... so, it really speed up the victory....

one more thing... don't loot... the money doesn't worth the trouble you will face in future with unrest.
don't set taxes high, let the towns grow (you can have a city with 10000 wealth in 150 turns if you plan to continue the game after victory, then you can set the tax rate to normal and enjoy)
master your generals in their field attacks and campaign map movement. you will need them. wasting your points on the general body guard melee attack and blabla doesnt worth it. generals in this game are not a unit to fight, but to command. not like rtw.
there's just too much in this game that you don't use... you can win this game with recruiting 40 units and just

ing up the rivals by mounting unrest with your monks....
use agents, i made the best benefit of agents to finish rtw:barbarian invasion (long campaign) in 10 or 11 turns... and yes, i did save and reload in that case...

well you start with one province, if you 'took a break to rebuild' every 4 turns or so, according to my basic math that would be around TEN, or '10' provinces you could have taken in 41 turns. your statistics however say 39 provinces in 41 turns.

You already admitted you save/reload like crazy, why not admit you used ...other methods too?

i am pretty sure,he user cheat engine or esf(with savegame) to add a lot money..as long its on cheat,not a winner

just take a look on finance and he never lost..load alots savegame

The legandary level gotta kick his ... away

cause cant savegame or pause in battle.

wait wait... cheat? i have the savegames available to post, just in case someone doubts...
i was not sending this records to gain fame! just wanted to see how others play this game, out of curiosity. that's all. i'm just another nameless, faceless person like every other users here.... there's no fame in this for me if i cheat and fool you that i'm the most quickest bad ass person in this game.... Zhayedan could be your nickname.
about legendary: the biggest challenge is not being able to pause dusing battles... which i think is completely absurd... cos in a real battle, every man has a brain of his own and can do whatever he think is better to do instantly... but you, as a game commander have only one brain and have to lead all units. so you do need to pause the damn game and tell every body to do what. right?
in my opinion, the biggest legendary challenge is the battle map which is missing. but again, some human errors like pressing Enter accidentally or sending one unit to fight a rival army makes it real crazy... i tried legendary with uesugi, made enough success that i could say i will win it in a dozen of turns, but made some errors and just quit the game, cos it was on my nerves.... it was not a challenge anymore... the game can get messed up if you skip to the next turn accidentally.

With a 2nd glance, the most interesting stat I see is the "0 units lost." Really...? If you're going to cheat your way through a campaign and pass it off as skill, at least be modest. Never losing a single unit is nonsense. There isn't the replenishment rate or economy to sustain your armies and win so often/swiftly without cheating.

But yeah i have to agree as oda is in a terrible position and you would most likely have to fight off many stacks from many different nations with no trade on very hard, i dont think that is logistically possible given the difficulty level and low number of turns, somethings up
