    Icon4 Trouble with Steam?

Well, here is a tool that I found that will assist those who use Steam to play this magnificent mod.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=410461

It is a tool created by Squid (be sure to rep him) and Gigantus (be sure to rep him as well) was kind enough to make a tutorial of it.

registry? What did you do exactly? All you need to do with the app is this

    1. Click on file
    2. Click on new mod
    3. Type in name of mod, can be anything... ie. for stainless steel, put "super cool mod!"
    4. Click on browse on bottom tag, and browse to your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\medieval ii total war\mods folder and use the mod folder you wish to use.... I currently installed Thera V3 so I highlighted the Thera folder and clicked "OK"
    5. Just about the most important thing, make sure Game Exe is KINGDOMS!

Doing this puts the Call of warhammer mod in the kingdoms mod options, but when i click it it opens the mod, i see the loading screen for a second and then Medieval suffers and unspecified error and closes.

    Any help?

1.) Is Kingdoms updated to v1.5?
2.) Do you have any other mods currently installed?
3.) Did you follow the instructions in this thread exactly? http://bit.ly/ldYiNF

1- doesn't steam update to 1.5 automatically? Anyway, yeah, i choose regular medieval total war and it says 1.03, yet the teutonic campaign says 1.05....now i don't know what version i have to be quite honest.
2-Third Age and Stainless Steel, they're mod foldered and work well on their own without any problems.
3- Yeah, i did, but now i think the problem might be with a faulty patch thing. How do i confirm which patch i have installed?

    Thanks for the quick reply

Your game is correctly updated, Medieval II should be v1.3 & Kingdoms should v1.5.
This is the correct version #:

Also, where did you get the installation files? Did you get them from the torrent, official links or from my links?

Lastly, did you do the post-installation cleanup of the "Call_of_Wathammer" folder?

If you're having trouble with Squid's app, then you could always switch the COW file name with the name of a Kingdoms campaign.

Hi there, I'm new to this forum, but i had played Warhhamer miniature games before. Now i wanted to play this mod for my Kingdoms Medival 2. I Installed it, i runed the "add mods" progrma from the forum. Now when i want to play the program starts, the oppening picture appears with the Call of Warhammer picture, and then the progam stops responding. Did you have similar problems ? I have steam wersion of the game.

Really not advisable - this is even easier then the kingdoms app. I am using it in all my recent mods without problems.

Since the merging of the two EXE into the medieval2.exe file the above mod starter doesn't work anymore. This is the alternative, simply install into the mod's main folder, works for any mod.
