    Default Bug with the Cuman Khante

    Im playing as the Cuman Khante in the Late Campgein and in turn 38 when I swich turn to 39 so the game got stuck and a window come up and its wrritin "Medieva 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit".
    someone know what to do how can i save my campgein?
    and by the way its destroy already once my campgein with the Cuman Khante and I had force to open a new one and now its happen again I just dont know what to do

    First of all: what ss version, then which submods you use?

    The window appears after particular faction turn or at the very beggining?

    Also post your error log, it's in programs->ss->error log.

    my ss is 6.4 and Im using svage AI, BYG's Grim Reality 2, Permanet Arrow and Permanet Watch Tower that is all nothing more.
    In this campgein its happan in the turn of Venice but in my last one it happen after the turn of Castila of Leon
    I try to uninstall and install the mod a few time but this is not hepling

    I have a similar problems, but I'm using different submods. You could use console command 'toggle_fow' and in game options turn 'follow AI' on to precisely learn when crash happens.

    You could also modify file called default.cfg in SS6.3 directory. Change two lines, from
    level=* error
    ;level=* trace
    to
    ;level=* error
    level=* trace

    After saving open the game and take the turn when crash happens, your log will now be very large, but it will probably have some more info. If you can, post last 10 lines or so.

    Oh, and after you're finished undo the changes in default.cfg, cause it probably decreases performance/ increases turn time...

    I have done what you ask about the "toggle fow" and I think that the crash happen when the army of Venice try to enter the city Venice, and can you tell me pleas how do I turn off the toggle_fow.

    To turn fog on you just type the command again (but your minimap will stay updated, if you don't want that like me, don't save).

    As I see your log is quite different from mine. Try using 'surrender_regions <faction>' and taking the turn to confirm it's venice and not a faction after them (after i used that command i couldn't save - every save i made was corrupted, so check this also). Also a question : you play late or early era campaign? And is Real Recruitment enabled or disabled?

    I play in the late campaign and RR is on.
    I try you are command and now its happening for me in the turn of the Bsyentim Empire

    So maybe it was Byzantine in the first place. Don't actually know which faction name from vanilla TW you have to write in the console to remove them...

    You were right every time I do surrender_regions byzantium its make an error and out of the game, but what I can do now to keep playing???
