Corsair makes good stuff, I've never had trouble with Kingston or Mushkin either.

@ OCZ - I take it none of you are aware that they pulling out of the consumer ram market? There is so little money to be made on ram these days just look at how cheap 4Gb models can be bought for.

Personally I don't have a preference, I'll make my choice based on the CPU I'm buying by reading reviews I can get an idea as to which make and more importantly model gives me the best possible platform to get a good overclock.

I'm actually a fan of G-Skill. They're prices are good and they typically put good heat dispersers on most of their RAM.

heatsinks on ram are pretty much worthless unless pushing higher volts most modern DDR3 kits can overclock extremely well without voltage bumps

any brand works fine for me its all about price to performance

usually G skill is cheaper but personally ive used every brand there is,

Corsairs warranty service is great but ive had more of there ram die then other manufacturers usually this is because ive bought there higher end sticks aka higher voltages and timings there being pushed harder for better performance, it takes its toll

as of a personality think i prefer Mushkin for there Blacklines series plain black heatspreaders no gaudy lights or logos etc.

Ram sells bad because the cheaper stuff performs the same as the shiny stuff.

I have only used OCZ Gold best ram i have ever used.

G skill seems to be the new kid on the block and they are impressing at every turn. i'm using 8 GB of their DDR3 1600 8-8-8-24 with nice blue heatsinks. i would recommend either them or Corsair

G Skill is my new love. OCZ & Corsair and horribly overpriced in India.

what makes Corsair so solid is their customer service, there's this one guy called TheRamGuy or something along those lines that works for Corsair, and all he does is give solid advice and info.
