    Default CTD before I start campaign

    When I load up SS I go on grand campaign early era, I am flicking through the different factions reading about them and after about 30 seconds the program closes and sends me to the desktop. I am runing on Vista and I don't know if that creates problems, It is SS 6.1 and I have tried the solutions in the vista thread without any success. Can somone help? Thanks.

    I have no system.log file in my logs folder so I am not sure how to obtain the crash log. Thanks

    Known bug in 6.1, fixed in 6.3 and 6.4. Just decide on one and play or be ready to crash.

    sorry to bother you one last question probably a stupid one but do io have to download 6.2 and 3 before I can get 4? thanks in advance

    You need 6.3 for 6.4. See its release topic.
