I've got a really weird one but maybe its not a bug but a punishment for being cruel. Whenever I bribe an army If there are any ashigaru I kill them(disband them). If I bribe an all ashigaru army, when I get them I see no change in my estimated earnings next turn...If I kill them(disband them) they just poof and I get no hits on my upkeep number for next turn still. Yet when I bribe a mixed army and shave the fat(disband the ashigaru) I take a considerable hit on the "earnings next turn" number EVERY TIME. So feel free to experiment. I find that you take no hit if you disband an entire army...and you do take a hit if you disband part of the army. I am playing a legit hard game so I am not going to disband expensive good units when I need them desperately to conquer the lands. I'm thinking this could be a reason for desyncs as well because I was noticing desyncs on turns that I "shaved the fat."

If I had to guess, I think this is just a mistake in code. They forgot to add a flag to bribing success's to cause the economy recalculator thingamabob to detect more troops appearing on the radar so it doesn't calculate them till the following turn(which might mean free troops for a turn). Hell now that I think about it...they should be free I just paid outrageous amounts of money, they should be doing whatever I want for a turn atleast. Sadly when you adjust the army's makeup...which shouldn't happen because the coders assumed 0 movement point armies can't move...the calculator flies off changing the number next turn. If you kill some troops off then the calculator kicks in and adds whatever troops remain to the earnings number...which makes you pay for the troops twice....god I have a headache now.

So if anybody with influence over patches actually reads this...good luck. If someone wants me to put a youtube up of this bug lemme know. But seriously, I'm no genious and I can duplicate it every time.
