Mentor System?
I wonder if anyone might consider this, I realise with the ladder and leaderboard, giving away your tactics to those beneath you may seem like a quick way to chop your own foot off. But for those who are content with what they have achieved, and wish to pass on their skills.
Would any experienced players be willing to become a Sensei? Perhaps even a Shishou, or Taichou.
What I'm suggesting, asking, begging? for, is a possible mentor system, where a player is willing to play some games with those s/he wishes to aid, and offer advice to them, and what they feel the person should have done better.
I will admit I would be interested, as I am struggling a little at around a 50/50 ratio now, and have reached an impasse in my level, it seems. Helping in such a way would no doubt increase respect and social interaction between the people here, and would hopefully go a way to reducing alt+f4, and terrible camping situations. Since we know and respect each other more.
Might there be any interest in this? Or will the ladder, and the desire to maintain places at the top, keep such a scheme from happening?

The best thing for you would be to join a *small tight nit clan no?
You can get to know everyone, play with everyone and get tips etc.
*As in 25ish people so you can get to know everyone pretty well.

Wolf_Kocmoc used to do this as did quite a few other vets in shogun1 i havent really seen it in stw1 tho. Get yourself into a clan and you can all feed off eachother and grow together.
