What happened to the Gallic horde campaign challenge? (horde to India and then fulfill the victory conditions)
If its ended or been completed can we have a new one? It might bring more posters.

You could try settling down in UK and finish your campaign from there if you want

Isnt England going to be easy to start in?

You have to horde all the way there then do your campaign objectives.
HAs should help in the west but then colonization won't be pretty if you attempt it.

True but England is seperated from the rest of Europe so defending it will be quite easy even for Parthia

Route-Through the Seleucid empire sacking both Seleucia and Antioch on the way, through Macedonaia purging Pella as i pass it,along the Illerian coast, through the alps destroying Massilia and finally north to Samarobriva where i will build ships to take me across the channel .

For some reason the garrison script never activated. At first i thought it was because my spy let me strike on the first turn but my spy died attempting to enter Camulodunum and the script never activated for that city.

I destroyed everything in Samarobriva to give me a bit extra so i should have enough to capture the entire island.
p.s. The massive gap between leaving mainland Europe and taking Camulodunum was because i was trying to activate the script.

How did you get that stack in UK?

Most of them are horde units, hold on and i will find out what they are.

Ohh, built one in Samarobriva.
Two cataphract hordes
Two horse archer hordes
Two persian cavalry hordes
Two steppe infantry hordes
One horse archer unit
One steppe infantry unit
Six eastern archer spearmen units
So i went through the trouble of finding that for nothing

Capturing Isurium and Mona were both easy thanks to my Cataphract units but with those now gone and my army horde units gone with them i will have to secure tthe rest of the UK with my eastern archers and whatever barbarian warbands i can train up within the next few turns.
I do have 6 generals now though and my money is going up so i should do ok for the next few turns, if i get into trouble i can always buy a mercenary army
Apparantly i didnt need much to squash the remaining rebels in Scotland and Ireland, 4 turns later and i had a large force of barbarian spearmen that easily captured both cities.

I will spend about 20 years building up my infastructure before i start laying waste to Europe.
20 years gone and i know have access to some pretty good native units. (for some reason my eastern archers started to disappear once i took tree cities leaving me with just levies)

I have gone with native administation as it allows the recruitment of some good barbarian infantry which i will need to create a beachhead in Europe, i will turn Gaul into my own government to supplement my barbarian forces.
