To gain Rangers of the North as recruitment for Gondor in their campaign?

Also, what other forces can I recruit in the outer territories should I gain a chance to reconquer them from Mordor, Isengard, and so on, who have taken the territories of Rohan, Dale, etc.

I'm asking because it gets more and more difficult to reinforce the my northern armies with decent or semi-decent soldiers. One of my armies consists of way over half guardsmen and yeomen because they are simply too far away for me to adequately reinforce them. Also, I like seeing some diversification of my armies.

I think the sun means 'elite', dale knights have it too. And for the rangers, I think you can recruit them in Fornost, not sure.

Thank you. That's what I would think as well. Only problem is that is currently owned by the free people's and I don't exactly feel like attacking them just for that.

But luckily, if you wait long enough, apparently, a unit of them appears at Minas Tirith. So whatever.

You could use force diplomacy and give them an adequate sum for the city. (I would save it before this move, if the ranger thing doesn't work you can always try something else)

The units that randomly appear in minas tirith are scripted. The problem is; you can't use them to make your northern army stronger, it's to far away.

Yeah I know...I guess I could always try force diplomacy...

But my diplomat is all the way over in Rhun right now...How come we only get one diplomat?

This mod is based on LOTR movies. In the movies, there aren't much diplomats so...

they can.. just for 1 turn, and its enough to "lift the siege" of important city's like Minas Morgul, helm's-Deep , or Minas Tirith

Aw man...Well it's just annoying that when I need a diplomat in, say, Eriador, and the only one is all the way in Rhun, where he is busy.

u cant requit rangers of north anywhere...thay just randomly join to ur faction if u play as gondor or free people

edit: thay spawn in fornost and minas tirith randomly only if u have general in that city
