My games not working

I installed the game as the instructions said. My creative assembly folder looks different then the pictures they showed. I only have Rome - Total War (which is a copy of the origional game that I made as suggested), RS2, and RSII_Public which was the old game but when I installed it I renamed it to what it showed in the pictures.
When I load the game and the launcher comes up I go select a facion and error pop up appears and just simply says 12. It comes up again when I click play "Roma Surrectum II" about twice, then it asks if I selected my faction. I click yes then it goes to launch rome total war but it doesn't reconise the CD being in the CD drive.
I run windows 7, the rome total war version was just the regular game with the 1.5 patch.

Always look through the stickied posts before posting - you can sometimes be playing the mod sooner.

I did what that forum said and its still not working. exact same error as before.
