Unnecessary addition. No one used gunpowder then as a primary weapon of whole formations of soldiers. Gunpowder warfare was still in a nascent stage.

To sate your obvious yearning for things that go (bang!) play the Abbasid Caliphate and once you get your cities big enough, some of them can get Naffatun! I know its Naptha and not gunpowder but it still has the desired effect. Just used them last night when defending one of my cities from a Seljuk siege. I think Seljuks are a mite too powerful in 2.02.... anyways, check them out.

There always will be seekers for advance technology in warfare, though this is a game.... if the game is killing each other by throwing stones. Learn to be a good thrower of stones instead of looking for more advanced weapons, a true warrior a true general doesn't need more advanced units. The general is in need of better tactics. And no Tiger Panzers
