Weird Problem

After installing some recent windows updates, whenever I try running the game from the launcher it just directs me to the steam store for medieval 2 and underneath the screenshots it tells me "you already own the game". Is there something wrong with the launcher? I installed the windows updates hoping to fix a "fatal graphics error" problem i'm having with the game.

Did you buy it from Steam? The Steam copy does use the launcher whether we like it or not.

Good news. Ati just released new drivers today so installed them, then I reinstalled Medieval 2 with UAC and my antivirus program disabled. I ran the game and it worked!!!!!!!. No more fatal graphics error or any other error!!!!

Yes, i also deleted the launcher .exe because maybe it was broken and it replaced it.
