not too sure if this is a bug or im just unlucky, i am playing as the Dal riatta and it seems the religion is predominately pagan, however i have not had one general as a pagan everyone i get seems to be christian...

There should be a transition from the Pagan religion to Chritianity

hey Riothamus,

my problem: banners in game (troops, towns) are not displayed respectively are damaged.
All factions on campaign map have same banner, a white square with cross and halfmoon inside the banner.
plus the battle map banners are from native game (like danish banners e.g.). they are supposed to be different, right?
cant find any infos on this issue in this thread.

i reinstalled twice, everything is working fine - beside the banners.
i would appreciate any help,

Thats not suppose to be. May have to re download the mod instead of re installing it for it might be a defective download. I'm not sure why it would do this unless a defective install, dl or if files were unpacked from your MTW2

banners are still defect.

its really sad, cause if all factions have same (defect) banners, this kinda ruins gameplay.
i would really love to play the mod, so do you maybe have any other suggestions what to do in order to get the banners displayed correctly?

From your keyboard press the print screen tab while viewing the screen then save the pic. To upload it and display it here, you will need image shack or a similar type program.

answearing your question: no, i dont have other mods installed (beside the 4 kingdoms campaigns).

but maybe this is relevant:
i couldnt install it the "official" way, because kingdoms via steam didnt recognize your mod (followed the instructions precisely!). there was some problem with admin-stuff, although i AM admin. anyway, then i followed a suggestion i read somewhere in one of your threads (steam problems/faqs or something else). i just renamed the IB2-CB folder to americas (or british_isles or whatever) - then steam was able to identify it and it worked perfectly. BUT: this has nothing to do with the install procedure, right? i mean everything is just working fine, but not the banners.

Its most likely the change in the installation that confused the instruction to display the strat maps correctly. I'll keep looking into it and see if I can find anything to fix this for you and Ill post back . Maybe also someone can help us out here

alright, thank you Riothamus.
and well, as i said, the actual install process was made like specified and free of any problems.
its just that i renamed the folder after the install was completed (in order to make it readable for steam), which actually could not change any files, right?
dont know, feel pretty clueless...

You can buy it digitally and install it that way instead of a disc. This is how I have it installed but to answerer the larger part of your question if I understand it correctly would be no. The game requires a MTW2 Kingdoms installation in some way
