That, my friend, will be a decision of the rest of the team

Plus we would need someone knowledgeable of the faction to write the preview, I don't know too much about them as Germanic and Norse are my areas of knowledge

I don't believe we have anyone who can speak either. I'm not sure though.

It looks similar to me with my free time, this semester it seems th exams are going to be extremly hard for me. However when the things start to go well for me I could also contribute to translation.

    About those 4 axes:

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Ra%C5%A1ka.jpg

First one (from the left) is dated to 14-16th C., second one to the same period and the last one to the 15-16th century. My source is actually a serbian one:

Marko Alkesić - Weapons from medieval collection of National Museum in Belgrade, Glasnik Srpskog arheološkog društva

Axe found in the Danube (cat. no. 5 fig. 2/1) has according to certain similarity with the find from the Iron Gates been dated generally in the 14th-16th centuries. Battle-axe from the unknown site (cat. no. 6; fig. 2/2) on the basis of analogies with specimens from Serbia and Croatia as well as the painting representation of the axes from Russia dates from the 15th-16th century. Axe of large dimensions found in Smederevo (cat.no. 7; fig. 2/3) is the most similar to two axes also originating from Smederevo and belongs to the period between the 14th and 16th century.
So, those axes (except the third one), are out of the mod's time-frame.

Great Counterpoint381's "viking" swords we already use can be modified to accuratly show those swords.
Also Absinthia's german swords can be used for the same reason.
Luckily in this point we have the needed sources.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Merry Christmas and Happy Christian New Year (the Bulgar one passed 7 days ago, but we've been recently converted and as loyal subjects of our lord, it seems we'll be joining your Roman ways in a few days instead)!

Icon3 Western Tradition [Episodes that fit to TGC mod timeframe].

Here are some episodes of a great history series of the past.
Those episodes will help you understand better the world and the time TGC mod refairs most.
    Western Tradition
    The "Byzantine" Empire

    The Dark Ages

    The Age of Charlemagne.

    The middle Ages

The fall of Byzantium (generic infos that are valuable).

In the end it has no matter if all of us agree in everything we read or see but by reading and see we make our knowlege horizons wider.

Isn't the part in the first video about golden lions and birds a romanced and somehow obviously inaccurate view of an imperial audience written down by a varangian dignitary ?

I remember a text like this from a school history book of mine, ages ago...
