A Change of Direction
A Change of Direction
The men in France from the lands of Britanny or Aquitaine are to be removed and returned to England or English Normandy. This is a result of bad planning and leadership on the part of the previous King. A peace treaty of 10 years is requested to be made between the nations of France and England.
With so many of our men abroad in the Crusades, and the change in leadership quite large, the ability for England to win this war, is difficult. The land of Burgundy is almost conquered, something the last King pledged would not happen, but we have failed.
Therefore instead we shall look north on the chessboard, perhaps there are much easier and greater riches for England to reach.
God bless each and every one of you, and we wish that Easter was a happy one for the people of England.
Richard R.
By the Grace of God, King of England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland and France.
