I do not support Proposal one - Traits should be used regardless if they are international or in the Realm. And some of the bonus and traits help the character in question. So if you take them out. wont the character have a higher chance of losing and dying or being captured ? . I mean if we send our main to battle. We want him to use his traits to survive so he could come back ?. I mean that is what i want.. I want to have my character come back alive and his traits help with that.
And Proposal 2 i am in the middle with that one.

I mean the battle related traits of course lol. The +1 to their section/side is what Im talking about here... Due to the fact that the other side would also have nobles with traits, and they would cancel out... In all honesty... England has a rather limited number of nobles for its land side... If anything this proposal would make it easier for England to win international battles since the otherside masses of nobles wouldnt be counted against England...
for proposal one, i like it. I think it should be clear that traits like esacaping battle and such wouln't be nulified. While traits that simply give a bonus would be. you have no idea how much time us mods take trying to figure it out so its fair.
as to p2, i dislike it. The game has gone beyond role play to strategy already. Lets not strategies it any more. Maybe i might like it if people started role playing battles and committed the forces that way, but not as a generic dice roll.

I think it's good. Each side would probably have the same bonuses any way, so they just cancel out.
