I was recently poking around my TV when I found PC to Monitor connecter (I forgot the technical name.) It seems most TVs have these ports, so I plugged in my computer as normal, and voila! For those of you with a TV with one of these ports, I urge you to try this (provided your TV supports a resolution your computer can use) It makes playing any Total War game ungodly epic, even Minecraft works well with it.

Well any tv with HDMI plug in can be connected to a PC or laptop easy.

With mist recent Graphics card, they all use HDMI cable, for example my GTX465 uses HDMI, and is connected to my LG 24inch TV/monitor.
So, i can take the HDMI plugin and plug it to a bigger TV if i wanted to as long as it has HDMI.... not that hard
