After finishing Osgiliath and the generic settlements, KK could make a custom settlement model for Cair Andros, too. That won't require much work, since there is already one in the historical battle section, so he doesn't have to start a new one from scratch. IMO the Cair Andros design in there is good enough to be included to 3.0. Of course there has to be some improvements to that version (e.g. replace hill-walls with actual walls, place gates to the gaps, smoothen terrain etc).

I think the work is the same if he did it from scratch.

And lets not forget, that even though KK must be experienced in settlementmaking now, Osgiliath is a really really tough nut to crack, that will propably take one or two months of work to portray properly.

I think he has already done the biggest part of Osgiliath yet. I think KK meantioned somewhere, that he did great parts of rivendelll before but had problems to solve something. Therefore i guess Rivendell was already finished some time ago and he just solved that problem. In the last 2 months (since preview II was released) he worked on the generic orc settlement and, because he mentioned that it would take about 1 month to do a generic settlement and, cause the orcish one doesnt look that hard to do(i mean in case of time needed to make it) he had still some time left to work on another one which isnt finished yet.
Its just my opinion, but i really hope i am right and Osgiliath is the last settlement he is going to create before releasing 3.0

WOW. Truly the work of an artist. Well done.

Will Orcs have walls besides wooden pallisades or will they have to capture them? Either way can make sense.

I seem to remember KK discussing making 2 versions of each building for Osgiliath(one destroyed, one restored)which means almost twice the work but all the more impressive when it does arrive. Version3 tho? now that may be wishful thinking

Not to mention that there are two parts of Osgiliath, so that makes 2x2=4 settlements of work?
