    Default A Noob Question?

Hello everyone! My name is Smackus and I just joined today. From what I've seen the game looks beautiful, but there's just one problem: I can't install it! I am inexperienced at installing mods but from the outset it didn't look very difficult. I have a clean 1.5 installation and I have the mod ready to be installed. I made a copy of RTW and placed it in a different folder. Do I install SPQR into the first RTW, or the New folder?

    Thanks in advance,
    Smackus

The copied folder so you keep your original installation intact. Also check my signature for detailed description on how to properly install the mod. If you need anything else, shoot, ill do my best to answer.

    How about the reforms?
After that it will take a city on a 12000 inhabitants level(city or large city) to train the real thing...

Until then only pre-marius units can be trained, just like in vanilla.

No. I need how to train imperial and republican legionnaires on SPQR MOD not in regular Rome:Total War

    I got that...
I was just saying that you have to trigger the marius reform in SPQR to get these units. In addition legionary baracks are needed which require a large city. (These are the same things as in RTW so I compared them)

Until you get these reforms only hastati, etc. are at your disposal. If you want to know what to do to get it take a look at the FAQ section I don't want to write a spoiler here.

I hope this cleared our little misunderstanding.

EDIT: To get imperial legions you have to annihilate the senate and conquer rome.

For starters: A triple post, really?

As for your question I present this spoiler. It is just copied from Hesus FAQ thread and the informations are for older version but I think they still somewhat apply.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    14. Marius Reform :
To get the Marius Reforms you will need to hold all carthaginian starting positions. (cities)

    List of cities

    Carthago ----------------- Carali
    Lilybeon ------------------ Locus Garamantes
    Valencia ------------------ Hadrumentum
    Gades -------------------- Leptis Magna
    Tingis -------------------- Carthago Nova
    Rusicade ----------------- Sitifis
    Taras -------------------- IoI

When you control these cities remember thy need to be upgraded to Imperial or Royal Palaces to trigger the reforms.
You will need 24000 citizens per city and building an imperial palace will take 16 turns to build.
If you retreat you will age. Be afraid and you'll die.

Thanks everyone, it's installed and I'm playing!
Just one more, I've noticed that there are no flags on the units during the battle. Can I change this? It's hard to see the my own units...

    Just a simple question...
I'm assuming this isn't modfoldered? Is it? and if it isn't, is there a version that is?
