    Default The Great War glitches

I have installed The Great War and it works fine, except for the dates. It starts in 1805, and the game is over at the very end of 1812?? The description of the countries all work as if they were WW1 era, but the starting provinces and year is as if I didn't download a mod at all, even after going into the "World War I Campaign" in the main menu. Help please?!?

I'd recommend reinstalling it, especially if you did the manual, you probably forgot a file or installed something incorrectly. To me, it sounds like the startpos is messed up.

Hope it works out for you, it's a 'great' mod. ((Muahha clever pun...)

I reinstalled the game twice, and the mod three times. What happens is if I put in the user.script in the scripts folder the game crashes. However if I change the name of the folder or remove it, the original glitch happens. Thank you for your help, by the way.

Well firstly you should post any TGW issues here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=374952

As to your problem, if the user.script is causing crashes then there must be an error in what you've written. I would suggest using modmanager instead of editing the user.script, it can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=344757
