    Default Enslaving After Capturing City

I think once i read that if you chose to enslave a city after you have captured it will send the people to only cities that have a governor.

But I also thought i read that they are dispersed equally to all settlements?

Anyone have idea which is true?

It disperses people equally to all settlements with a governor.

And Rome count as one of your city if you are a Roman (before the civil war I think)...so they steal a part of the people enslaved

    yep : easy to check:
begin a campain with the Julli, put a governor in 1 city,

Take segeste and enslave the population (900/2 = 450 men)

You gain 225 men in Arretium

    Where are the other 225?

Another point to note is that although there is supposedly a population bonus for 20 turns after you enslave a city, it doesn't actually happen. It shows up in the percentage on the screen, but the population doesn't actually go up by the right amount. Try it out yourself.

    Lol, RTW en francais

Anyhoo, I just enslave and basically forget. If you need population for a town...just stick a govenor in and enslave aaway. I find that the bonus is actually pretty helpful.

Ya, but don't overslave people... or you would find out suddenly your towns are going to rebel! (I have such experience)
