Question on formations during city battles

Several times since I have downloaded this fantastic mod I have experienced only one frustrating error. During city battles, where the defenders sally out of the gates to attack my besieging army, certain front line regiments from both sides seem to fragment before meeting in battle. I was extremely frustrated when it happened last time because a regiment of taxeis hoplite from the Independent Greeks literally spread out over my entire battle line fighting every one of my units without losing casualties. I'm talking well over 20x the norm for spread out formations. Only a few of my regiments will act the same, usually the flanks of my line or some of my missile units as well as disobey any command during their temporary insanity, while others simply refuse any order I give them and just stand there. I will try to post a screen soon, but thought I would post first to see if anyone have had the same issues? Sorry for the wall of text!

This is an old RTW bug...happens mostly if you attack citys without stone walls

These affects appear to be reduced the smaller the unit scale that you are using.
