    Default RTR Parthia?

Shouldn't Parthia be the most strongest and prosperous faction in the east since they need conquer all that area and wasn't even completely invaded maybe prehaps in ur next mod Parthia should prehaps start off with either more money or shall i say more armies so they conquer the east so when ur rome and by the time u reach u reach the east by time u reach syria and capture it ull hopefully be on the borders of parthia.

I find Parthia to be a very easy faction to use. Once you get past the first 10-20 years and take some citys, its all down hill. Horse Archers rule the east, and used correctly are virtually unstoppable.

The only way to deal with horse archers with roman factions, perhaps, is to use lots of foot archers protected by legionaries

The problem is that, at the beginning of the game's timeframe, the Parthians weren't that strong, so giving them more money and/or more armies won't be a historically-accurate or realistic way of achieving a historical resolution. And who knows how it could have gone in history, had anything slightly changed? If, in your Roman campaign, you reached Syria and the Seleucids hadn't had to surrender many of their provinces to Parthia, then many things would have been different.

My point is, that you cannot force the whole game to stick to history. You have to start the game as historically as possible and place restraints on the factions that were on the same factions in history (eg, as the player you won't just be able to say "I want a reform...now" and be able to get it - it will have to occur naturally) and let the game play out the rest.

Maybe in 7.0 there can be a solution. I think the easyest would be to have reforms so that parthian units in later periods would have less upkeep--->more units. Or the game could script in order to give them some juicy armies in the late game.

Thats all fine and dandy except for the fact that RTW AI makes for a really boring game so some people would like history sped up alittle bit. TBH I always wanted to see Parthia conquer the east but thanks to the horrible pathfinding the AI Parthia cant navigate through the mountians to well and will jsut sit there the whole game.
