Default SS 6.4 CTD on turn taking

Hi, guys. I'm having CTD on turn taking with error message 'M2:TW encountered an unspecified...'. I noticed that it crashes when it gets to France. I turned 'follow ai moves' but still i can't find anything that could cause crash (i checked with toggle_fow). Also when i use console command 'disable_ai' or 'disable_ai tac' i can take turn and no ctd happens. But when i save the game, exit and then try to take the turn it crashes again.
    My log:

    Not much info there.

    Savage AI
    Longer assimilation
    Permanent watchtowers

    Thanks in advance

Kill the french faction with "surrender_regions france" and try to end the turn again and report back. Either this confirms that it is france or whether it is a faction after it that is responsible for the crash.

Yep, it works fine after removing France. So it's confirmed... Any suggestions on how to solve this and leave them?

I also modified default.cfg as it was mentioned somewhere (from error to trace), so the end of my log is:

Hmmm, another thing i noticed: after removing France and saving, the savegame gets corrupted giving the same error message: 'M2:TW encountered an unspecified...'. And here's the end of my log:

Any settlements they are besieging? Any possible fights? Prevent / intervene in all of them (use auto_win attacker and character_reset to make this quicker). You can even up the havoc later by gifting the settlements to the likely victor or letting them revolt.

Dammmmmmm, I'm good. I found the problem, but don't know how to solve it. It's caused by French King, when i attacked and killed him the turn went fine. The thing now is how to remove him. I can't even move him around cause his name is Andre (with some accent over e) and it always says 'the character doesn't exist'...

Kill him. Cheat money, use it to make peace, cheat the money away from france after that if you want. Got any assassins?

OK, this is getting ridiculous. First, i waited (with disable_ai) until French king died, everything was fine (after saving exiting and reloading no ctd after turn)... So i attacked and killed him on earlier save (i assassinated him but after that ctd happens again!). The turn goes fine (i'm still at war with France). After the turn I ask for 'cease hostilities', they agree. But when I take the turn after that, the ctd happens again!!! It turns out I HAVE TO DECLARE WAR ON FRANCE to take the turn again... What the hell is this?

here' the comparison of the parts of logs:
    when ctd happens:

18:09:17.203 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.
and with no ctd (when i'm at war with france):

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

    18:02:49.171 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <agents19> fired
    18:02:49.171 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <King_Employs_Bribery> fired

    18:02:49.984 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <0083_Demeanour> fired
    18:02:49.984 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <agents28> fired
    18:02:49.984 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <King_Employs_Diplomacy> fired
    18:02:58.609 [game.script.trigger] [trace] Trigger <0068_T_Battle_Engagement> fired
The <0068_T_Battle_Engagement> could be when they attack my forces (don't know if that would be here).

UPDATE: I ceased war with France and took one turn with 'disable_ai', then enabled ai and it went fine (no ctd on the NEXT turn) but now after couple of turns (when i get a message of new era - new mercaneries - or smth like that) all savegames get corrupted, autosave and one of my saves!!

I'm gonna use one of my old savegames (7 or so turns before the problems with France even began) and try to move on, but if this happens again I'm going back either to SS 6.3 or even 6.2 (in which i have never had such problems)...
