Default If you could have all TW Eras on one game engine, which would it be?

Like would you play the Empire Campaign using the Medieval II game? Or conquer Japan on Rome: TW's engine?

Rome II on Warscape (ETW, NTW, TWS2's engine)

i think the engine for M2 was the height of the engines, that and a risk style map would be pretty ing awsome.

yes but its a heavy edit with hardcoded things changed iirc, so it would be better.

    1) i dont know that those are inherintly contained within the engine itself (bad path finding seems to be inherint to TW though )
    2) yes

    Meh, apples and oranges.
I personally prefer the RTW engine, much more versatile. Though the MTW2 engine had a much more serious, war colour tone. I felt like battles in RTW were too fairytaleish with bright colours and all.

Definitely a risk style campaign map as in Shogun1 and Medieval1.
And also the Civil Wars similar to the first MTW. No single generals rebelling - only when a large portion of your captains and generals are unhappy with your regime then they form a league and splitt of your Empire.
