nothing

WHeni attempt to start up napolean , i have tried both the in steam shortcut and the .exe, nothing happens at all, im working from a fresh install. Also when i validate files 1 files is missing everytime and is reaquired but it does nothing.

Check your permissions through your security/firewall/router?
Disable Steam community in Steam?
Updated directx 9.0c, .Net 4, C++ 2005 SP1?

Follow this path and run both .exe's in the folder. This made my Napoleon work after a fresh install.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\napoleon total war\redist\

Right. So did you run those 2 files?

If you validate your game and it requires 1 file, it should download it without issue.

I only have 1 .exe in that file

Yes it downloads roughly 53kb file everytime, this does not allow the game to start up, and the next time i validate the folder it then downloads another 1 file of 53 kb

Just got it working with a second reinstall, i didn do anything different however it now works, thank you for your help :/
