anyone know how to fix this? mouse issue in battle

During battles where the mouse all of a sudden takes off as if you were scrolling/moving. In the middle of a battle right now and need a quick fix.

What type of mouse? On old scroll wheel mice I remember that happening when there was something on the trackball. Optical and laser mice it can happen if you lifting up the mouse or the surface isn't very good(glass or something reflective). If none of those I'd look at your software drivers or mouse cable to make sure its plugged in fully.

is it a wireless mouse? i used to have issues with my wireless keyboard and ss, switching to a usb wired one fixed the issue.

Wired mouse. Mx518. Had to pause the game for 5-10min then it worked again.

How buttons on your mouse soulson?

being a clumsy person i find I have to disable any side button in case I accidentally touch them.
also some scroll wheels have a tilt function which might need turning off.

(I had a Microsoft Comfort mouse which felt good, but had a free-turning mouse wheel -the slightest touch and it zoomed away.
My new mouse has a clicky mouse wheel - it needs a positive touch to move it. much better.)

you might be able to customise the mouse buttons for particular games too.

wired mouse - i got rid of mine and went wireless as the wire kept snagging on the keyboard (I'm not using a proper desk so the mouse sits in front of the keyboard.)

my new mouse a trust F1 red Bull big chunky mouse has stopped all sorts of nonsense I used to get with my old mice.
(shame it can't do anything about my typing)
