Spain emancipates religious teachers from Vatican control

In a victory for obviousness the Spanish constitutional court has forced the Vatican to relinquish control over the personal lives of religion teachers in state schools. The case followed a Mr Galera being sacked for marrying a divorcee - it goes without saying the court agreed with the fact this marriage bore no relation to his work as a teacher.

Another victory for human liberty over a bankrupt sexual dogma.

A good victory for spain, one of the biggest tradgedies of Franco's victory was the Catholic Church (re)gaining a strong foothold at the centre of spanish society.
