Medieval 2 1.3 Patch Error

Hi, I'm kept getting encountered unspecified error while doing sieges, and my friend told me if I update kingdoms to the 1.3 patch; it'd work... but suprisingly, I keep getting an error about data_0.pack "/

Any resolutions for this? really annoying because I want to play kingdoms without errors on sieges "/

If you have Kingdoms installed, You have 1.3 patch installed.

Maybe he means the Kingdoms 1.5 patch. http://help.sega.com/index.php?_m=do...215&nav=0,1,19

will I have to delete descr_geography.txt and some other file after installing this?
sorry I'm just so annoyed about all this installing and etc.

You only have to delete them IF you unpacked the game.

Do you have Kingdoms installed? Which version of the game do you have?

the stand alone boxed version on kingdoms, same with the original one.

Installed 1.5 patch for kingdoms and still:

download it, again, being sure it's the non-gold version from your description.

Also do it logged in as Administrator with the UAC disabled if not doing so.

Also, just so you know, do not attempt to play Kingdoms by double-clicking the kingdoms.exe. It is not a standalone .exe and requires a target folder for the Kingdoms mod you want to play. Are you trying to launch through the Launcher or maybe one of the Desktop icons that are normally installed during installation? Good luck!

Yeh, i'm using the desktop icons that were installed, that a problem and if you could explain or refer me to a link on how to target link kingdoms; i'd appreciate it )

You can't target kingdoms except through a Kingdoms campaign. Use the desktop icons and you're good.
