    Icon8 Problem with "technology_effects_junction"

    Hello,

    What I needed:
    I wanted to remove two of the three bonuses for spear and swords units cause I don't like these global bonuses...

    What I did:
    I used PFM, exported the table in TSV and edited it and so I removed the lines I don't want. I imported again the table to replace the original one, packed the file and tested...

    The result:
    Was nothing... so I tested something else, I added a bonus in the table, in case I did something wrong. The result was that the new bonus was here but still yet the bonuses for spear and swords units.

    Is there something I have missed when I did the modifications or is this table not working like the others ? It seems that you can add things but not remove effects
    The game seems to load the original table and add your modifications to the original tables, something I have difficulties to believe cause it seems so so crazy to program a game like that...
    Is there a solution ? (other than making modifications to all CA packs...)

    Its not only with this table that you can't overwrite vanilla ones..

    Aye as yarkis says in Shogun u cant overwrite an this over-ride vanilla tables like u could in NTW and EMpire.

    Means u can delete unit abilities and similar.

    Some tables have a new indew like building units allowed so you can use the vanilla index and this will overwrite a certain unit - for tech if it dont have such index the easiest way is id guess leave the lines there but just make the bonus + 0
