Humans in this movie must be stupid to be defeated by a like a hundred lab monkeys and 100 more zoo monkeys

It will probably be crap, unless they have scenes of gore and apes getting shot to pieces with AR-15 ... but then I look at PETA and lose all hope.

Action like the one in this 1995 Congo movie is what is needed

Thanks for ruining one of the scariest ape movies I have ever seen. Seriously wtf was that? Bunch of grey apes running around killing people? And hippos attacking people too? Oh and the laser gun at the end that caused the volcano to erupt and for some reason inspired the grey apes to go suicide in the lava that just started rushing through the cave? this new planet of the apes movie can not in anyway be any worse.

At least Congo had people shooting apes, in the new Planet of the Apes they probably won't even use a taser

Hahaha you and me both dude. I remember taping that on VHS from like HBO or something and watching it as a kid several times. For some reason, it made more sense to me as a kid than it does now. Now I know why no one else wanted to watch it with me.

I dont think nothing good can come out of this movie. I hate when producers just get lazy and exploit old movies instead of looking for some original sci fi ideas.

Yes and why don't they go back to the original Pierre Boulle novel.

I like the first two films and the Burton remake works on its own account. But would love to see an adaptation of the novel

Haha looks jokes. One serious monkey at the end.

Edit: Did these guys use that 'cure' on that one monkey or did that one monkey in turn escape and 'cure' the others lol.

Anyone else notice that most of the "apes" in this movie are gorillas. I don't want to sound like some sort of fuzzy animal lover but the first "ape" to break out in the trailer is King Kong

Also, many of the apes appear to be ninjas. In the trailer, one "ape" runs across the top of a house while a man stands in his garden apparently unable to hear this 2 tonne animal smashing his roof. Then another "ape" sneaks into a bedroom and watches two people sleep who also can't hear this animal. Finally at 1:30 in the trailer, that man walks into a lobby or something of a building, and somehow fails to notice the 100+ apes standing on the balconies above him.

So what do we learn from this film? Apes x inteligence = ninjas

The trailer should be thrilling and we should all hold our breaths in anticipation of the fall of human civilization at the hands of intelligent apes....but instead I almost started laughing at the hilarious threat of smart gorillas

I just can't see how 100 gorillas would be able to conquer an entire city and then earth, I mean they should have been able to come up with something that's more plausible than this.

Simple, the city is full of left-wing peace, the gun was so effective that they could only scream in order to make noise on the 4 of July

I'm a teenager, but I still love and appreciate the original Plant of the Apes with Charlton Heston, as one of the movie greats of all time! The new version was one of the worst films I had seen, and this one looks like crap!
