    Default why no green arrows or flags in IBII:AV??

    Why no green arrows or flags in IBII:AV?? The battles are so confusing especially when fighting romans against romans & i wouldn't know what's going on i tried switching the green arrows on in the configuration.cfg file but as soon as i start the game it crashes

    must i do something else?? or there's no way i could activate the green arrows in IBII:AV??? its such a nice mod but without green arrows i can't get used to it & its so confusing . I'd really like to activate them if possible..

    tnkx for the reply mate here are the last lines All i did was type false instead of true near the disable_arrow_markers in the .cfg file then when i clicked IBII's icon to start the game, for a second its shows starting m2tw instead of IBII:AV & it crashes immediatly i tried removed the geography file from the data & also tried removing the map.rwm but it crashed anyway.

    hi Praetorian1

    make sure you have this line in your configuration cfg file

    disable_arrow_markers = false

    that is all you need for the green arrows.
    tnkx midnite, i tried doing that but no luck at all cos it crashed to desktop its not letting me edit the mod even ,as a test, i tried to edit the descr strat in adding a named character with traits & all but it crashes just the same way as soon as i try to start the mod.

    You are not supposed to have a ctd when you change your preferences Configuration.text, you are making something wrong, uninstall IB II and install again. You must change the above text in the IB2 folder.Then find this line:
    [game]
    morale = 1
    mute_advisor = 1
    allusers = 1
    unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1
    advisor_verbosity = 0
    sub_faction_accents = 1
    show_banners = 1
    disable_arrow_markers = true
    and change true to false on the last line.

    Cheers
