Comp Stomp?

When you hold the mouse over the 'invite friends' tab, it says that you can team up against the AI, but there doesn't seem to be a tab to add AI players. I would like to comp stomp with my friends online but I do not see how to. There is also a difficulty tab in MP which makes no sense to have if there wasn't AI. I'd appreciate if anyone told me if there is no AI and if not how to add it in MP hosted battles (not ranked).

I don't think there is the possibility to play vs AI in MP games at all (yet?); there were others complaining about this on the official forum.
You could try creating a Custom Battle (from the SP side) and inviting a friend, but my guess is that won't work either.
