    Hi I'm just created a custom archer, though the accuracy/reload/ammunition stats in the info tab isn't showing. Right now it only shows the melee attack/def stats like a melee unit, not a range unit.

    It can shoot and everything but it looks very weird on the campaign map.

    Help?

    I dont find the text.loc. Is it located in any other pack-file, or where should I search for it?

    Thank you very much
    Edit: Well, in my local_ge.pack there are only three branches - advisor, font and text. There is no branch called db. And in the text there is no unit.loc

    If we want to make a mod pack instead of a movie one, where is the script file so we can put the mod files in the correct order? Yes, I know you can set the packs to Movie and not mess with the script but I would like to know where the script file is?

    can anyone tell me where I am going wrong with this? The game won't load, but i think I have followed the instructions to the letter.
    I want to try and do the same for all clans so generals are recruitable, armies and navies can travel further, armies are massively bigger etc, figured if I could do it for Shimazu I can do the same for all the clans once I have got one working.
    Any help appreciated.

    I'm having an issue. The units all show up in game. have the proper stats and voices. however they do not have unit cards and show up as purple samurai with the correct weapons. The purple samurai looks like a placeholder of some sort. I went back through and checked the uniforms tables, but the clones look just like the originals in all respects (except ID of course).

    Does anyone know what i might be doing wrong?

    Edit: Oh the units are showing on the buildings units allowed tooltip (as a sillohette with a '?') but once the building is built they do not show up in the recruitment list.

    Hi, what is the Localization Key for? It's found in the units_tables (or "units").

    Do we have to specify a unique one in this field for a unique unit?

    Hey guys, so to change the unit icon, we need to create a new variant model for it (or a renamed copy) and use it's name in the second column of uniforms?

    edit: apologies for two posts in a row.

    Yes, it seems you have to create a new variant model for each new unit icon. But, use it's name under the 'Uniform Variant' column.

    Yeah, I was hoping the variant and icons were separate in that we can just specify the icon name and not have to copy and rename a variant model.

    i got it working.. but somewhere i think i missed something..
    the unit appears, and recruitable, everything okay..
    except it has no name and description..

    in units.loc i added
    units_on_screen_name_aum_Inf_Sword_Katana_Monk_Uesugi - Katana Monks
    unit_description_texts_description_text_aum_Inf_Sword_Katana_Monk_Uesugi - Katana Wielding Monks

    wondering why it didnt appear in game..

    edit.. i got it to work now..

    needed to add the name and info int the localization pack.

    @gaelfury

    What version of PFM are you using? 1.6.6 Hotfix is the latest version.

    @goblinking

    Answer to your question: (see attachments)
    Is that what you are wanting?

    Not that I am aware of. I happened to have the unit in a personal mod of mine so I posted it since you was asking if PFM could be used to make one.
