Whenever I play Shogun 2, I notice that the frame rates for cutscenes on the campaign map are very lagging. I was wondering how to solve this? I have an AMD Turion(tm) II P540 Dual Core Processor, with 2.40 GHz. 64-bit operating system. 1024 x 768.
Video card?

not a very good card sadly. and your video memory is most likely partially shared with the system.
are your drivers at least up to date?
either way, you cant expect much out of your system.

Try matching the game and os resolutions to the same 1366 x 768 and set all settings to low.
I got the problem from empire onwards and its a system problem, not a bug.
When in deadly danger,
When beset by doubt,
Run in little circles,
Wave your arms and shout.
