Game will not start

Error2/3=Engine: RomeTW-BI.exe, Faction campaign: -mod:
Error3/3=In total: 'RomeTW-BI.exe -mod: -show_err -nm -movie_cam'

I keep getting that error even though I installed it exactly into the C:\Users\Jake\Documents\Rome Mod folder. I do not use steam, my computer can run the base game fine.

make sure RS2 is installed OVER a clean RTW game.

Do you actually have the R:TW BI exe in that folder? I did that once when I only had R:TW in there and got the same error message.

I sure do, it's all in there.

About the clean install, what if I have a no-CD patch since I don't want to use the CD constantly? Would that mess it up?

I believe they're illegal, and we wont discuss those here
