    Default Preferred MP Game Mode

    Soooo I heard Classic Battles are kind of broken... I must say don't miss them a bit.
    To me, the avatar based games are very balanced and I enjoy the variety the randomness in both maps and opponents brings.

    What does everybody else think?

    Matchmaking, Hosted or Classic?

    Matchmaking until everyone starts reaching lvl 10 because 22k is far from balanced right now and veteran spam really doesn't sound to appealing to me.

    so 1->10 matchmaking and 10+ hosted. (=

    coming from CoH and CoH Online, I love automatch, it forces you out of your comfort-zone and tests your abilities with an infinite variety of game dynamics. Once the game bugs (e.g. forced siege/sea battles when they're not selected) are ironed out, it's going to be pretty darn good. It's silly to get into a match on battle list and have someone force "rules" down your throat because they don't like to play against that strategy, that 's for the birds (imo).

    With lobby hosted games, i can play what i want, but not when i want.

    With matchmade, i can't play what i want, but i can play when i want.

    Tough choice.

    Definitely MM. It's surprising. I can remember numerous times in NTW where you just kept playing with the same people not because they were any good, but just because you could actually play a game without having to wait for hours.
    In addition avatar development, veterans, key buildings - it's fun.

    MM but all the bugs are starting to get to me and i'm sick of 5k battles.Also i really hate some of the maps and wish there was a option to blacklist maps.
    Saying that though i like how easy it is to just start up a few fast battles in MM.

    I feel the same!

    It's awesome to see people able to focus on what they consider their strengths to be, and to sculpt an army, avatar general, and set of retainers around it. Makes for great fun and variety in the matches!
