    Default Terra Incognita

Hey guys, I'm just wondering, I finally found the city that controls the vast expanses of the Sahara, Arabia, and Northern Europe, but the thing is, I can't land on the damn island. Is that supposed to be like that?

Yep, its supposed to be a way of representing the fact that, nomadic tribes aside, no-one really controlled these areas.

The location of that city in the north also has the kinda comical result of being able to recruit Celtic Heavy Spearmen as mercenaries from odd areas of the map by slipping over the border.

Yep I know. I was just pointing out that the Scandinavian location of the city and the vast extent of the terra incognita territory means you can recruit celtic heavy spearmen in odd places....like Arabia.

Ok, let's say you didn't need an actual settlement for the script. Is it at all possible in this engine to create land that is not an actual province?

The Roman Rebels need to be alive to have an AI to control them and therefore they needed a place
well..land which is not a province ? ...that does not sound very logical....all land has to be assigned to a province otherwise the engine does not know how to handle it...

As far as i was aware it had something to do with the script and the Roman rebels.

The internets, you wont get the 200 victory screen if you dont get all the settlements.

Which is why I'd like to have it JUST accessible by one teensy narrow pass. That way at the end of the game, I can invade it, conquer it, and in so doing take the 199th and final region (region 200 being the sea ).
